Penang has been my favourite state of ALL TIME in Malaysia. It has everything it takes to make you fall in love with it. Besides being labelled as a food heaven, Penang is also a famous tourist spot with lots of amazing attractions.
Hereby, I am going to list out a few Instagrammable spots in Penang. Dear hipsters, are you ready for it? (**drum roll**)
1. Matcho Café
Located at Lebuh Noordin, the cafe uses some lush greenery and pops of colour to create a tropical feeling. It's as if you're on a tropical getaway without having to leave the comfort of your couch. You will find multiples corners of the cafe that are photo-worthy.
The cafe even provides a rustic swing chair in it. Perfect spot for photos, isn't it?:D
2. Cheong Fatt Tze, The Blue Mansion
The indigo-blue outer appearance makes this mansion very eye-catching. The interior of the mansion is stunning as well after being beautifully restored. The mansion is opened with guided tours for three sessions which are 11am, 2pm and 3.30pm. Be sure that you reach before the stated opening hours.
The tour guide gave some interesting information about the mansion during our visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in history, culture and architecture. And, not to forget, for people who are into photography as well!
3. Blooms Café
Bloom Café is located at the second floor of the shoplot along Lebuh Tye Sin. It can be difficult to look for. (Well, at least for us.) The sweet and delicate interior is definitely for girls who have a pink obsession.
The café prepares two pools of pink and white ball pits for the customers to have fun and take photos. Not only girls will like it, I believe kids do, too!:D
At the end of the café, there is a room decorated with flowers and words with neon light.
4. Penang Digital Library
Penangites are lucky to have such a chic, quiet and comfortable library that opens 24 hours in town. It is not only a place for people to study or work, it is a great spot for photos as well. But, of course, provided that you are NOT interrupting others!
5. Cubopark Chusan
Cubopark Chusan is the first container pop-up mall in Penang. It is advisable to visit the place during evening hours for more beautiful Instagrammable photos when the lights are on and most shops are opened.
